All-Kerala SciTech Reel Contest for Schools
Organized by Sasthra Vedhi
It is an attractive 1-minute video clip that conveys a specific science/technology fact/phenomenon/demonstration/explanation. Instead of mere speech, it includes animations, images and effects that make the video attention grabbing. See sample videos on FB page (Click here or scan QR code)
Any student from Class 5 to Class 12 from Kerala. Malayali Students studying in schools outside Kerala(including foreign countries) can also take part. All students are treated as one category only.
Prepare your reel in the format of the samples given in SasthraVedhi Facebook page (Click here or scan QR code above). Make videos in the portrait mode, and add the signature video of the Vedhi (also available in our FB page) at the end. Total length of the clip should be less than 59 seconds, including signature.
Name of the student may be added in the video along with the text “SasthraVedhi SciTech Reels”. Finally post in student’s or parent’s FB page and tag Sasthra Vedhi (You need to first Follow the Sasthra Vedhi page). In the FB post, the student name, school name etc may be given. Language can be English/Malayalam or bilingual. Submission deadline: Oct 15, 2024.
By taking part, the participant is deemed to have agreed to SasthraVedhi using the reels for promotion of science through its activities and platforms. The participant will be responsible for any copyright infringement(they are advised to pick pictures and video clips from free websites like https://www.pexels.com and https://www.freepik.com/).
The first, second and third prize winners will be awarded trophies and all participants will be awarded certificates of participation.
